Stephanie Sim, M.D. is a board certified psychiatrist who graduated from the University of Texas at Austin with a BA in Biology (Magna Cum Laude). She received her medical degree at the University of Texas Medical Branch in Galveston. Dr. Sim completed her internship and psychiatric residency at the Baylor College of Medicine, Menninger Department of Psychiatry. She has received additional training by completing the adult psychodynamic psychotherapy fellowship at the Houston Galveston Psychoanalytic Institute. She has served on faculty at the Baylor College of Medicine. Dr. Sim has been in private practice for 17+ years.
Dr. Sim feels passionate about helping individuals make changes for a happier and healthier life. Her goals are to educate the community about mental illness and to overcome the stigma associated with it. Dr. Sim uses her skills to help each patient get more out of life.
